Color Crazy!

Since I've been in cosmetology all I think about is color.  I can't wait to be a colorist. I've been going to Empire Beauty school since February. I graduate at the end of December. I can't wait to be done.  Here we learn skin care, hair, makeup, and nails. Since I've been here I realize I love hair cutting and hair color the most. So I plan to make custom color clip ins and U-Part wigs. I really came to cosmetology school because I felt its more money in my pocket when it came to my photography. I wouldn't have to pay people to do hair nails and makeup when I can do it myself. I also have been doing a online class for Pravana to be a certified Pravana Colorist.

A Little Blonde :)

Yes I dyed my hair, On the 27th of November, I wanted a change, I've been talking about doing something whether it was dye or trim. I've been cuttin it more lately and it had gotten LONGER which I love. Yes, this Isn/t a major change but its something and I like it. Everyone has complimented that they love it. Since my hair is like 90 something % natural now I like it more. I do miss perms but I can do without. My hair grows faster now. I do think when i move to Ga I might have to do the perms again because of the humidity, hopefully my hair will adapt to it and I won't have to. Coko helped my dye it and I can say that was a very funny experience lol. I have 3 different colors in my hair now, I have to figure out how to get the back to blend with the rest of my hair (not the blonde). I dyed the back of my hair back in may, at that time I was trying to dye the back of my hair a really bright brown close to blong but it didnt turn as like as i wanted, and when I decided to dye my hair red (which would show burgandy) it just turned a different color brown lol, so yea. It was easier to dye my hair when it was permed because it always turned the exact colors I want, now that it's natural it's harder. So I have a really big job now taking care of my hair with this blonde, I do not want it to break/fall out, it's on the side too lol I don't need to look like alot of these chicks that dyed hair be looking so messed up.

Little Red Riding Frizz...

Everyone LOOOVED my hair when I did the red [In GA] and I totally miss it. My hair is about 96% natural [no relaxer] SOOOO I think I might do the red again :) when? I dont know exactly, just thinking :)

So I don't know if i want to just dye the crown like last time or if I want to dye a streak or what I need inspiration!! lol naw I need to find something that will look right on me that can last for a WHILE. It's annoying how white chicks can dye the hell out they hair and don't shit happen but when black girls dye it we have to be EXTRA careful and hope our hair don't fall out, break of ect. smh lol annoying. I need a new flatiron like right now. At the moment I have a 1 inch which does not help my hair I have too much hair for it and my hair wont stay as straight as it would if I had a 2 inch flat iron. I really want a curling wand. [Curling iron with no clamp] The clamp annoys me because it pulls at my hair. I want to try new styles. I need to pick up some flexing rods I think they are called too, so when I get paid, beauty supply here I come lol.
I this time I won't dye my hair I will go to a Salon and have someone do it and when I need a touch up I will do the same. When my hair disaster happened in Ga I was in tears and I never want that to happen again lol. ughhh! I think I might dye it for my birthday, that way I know for sure I can dye/bleach whatever and I won't have any problems. Last time I dyed my hair it wasss May 30th  or Oct 1st. I got Red but it didn't change my hair color much. Thats the only thing I do miss about having my hair permed was that with dyeing your hair the color always shows LIGHT.
One thing I'm going to hate when I move to Ga is getting use to the humidity. My hair is going to act viscious. Because I don't have any perm left on my hair and my hair is curly I won't be able to keep  my hair straight, unless its winter time, and even then the wetness in the air will frizz my hair.
